100% Merlot
4 weeks macerated Merlot.
Alcohol: 13%
Deep, dark red wine in colour. Eckelsheim Merlot from Limestone soil, one of my own vineyards. Visually very dark, taste lighter. Wine can be drunk chilled if wished so. Notes of Lingonberries, brambles, little salami notes, some tabbac.
Food pairings:
This wine can be drunk solo or with food. Suggestions are as following: game dishes such as venison, duck breast but also charcuterie, burgers, beef bourguignonne, steak
Also nice when you are chilling on the sofa and listening to a nice vinyl.
