Somethings on fire and it is this little wacky looking “rose”. Strawberry/clear light rubycolour in a clear glass bottle. Low tannins high energy wine. Lets burn the witch in the courtyard and dance around the fire, this wine tastes of red currants, sour cherries, cranberry drops, orange peel finishon the nose. A soft bitterness in the taste. A sharp but clean acidity.
Ideal with paprika crisps, pizza magherita, tomato and mozarella salad. Great pairing as
well with fatty type dishes, the acidity cruts through the richness. As well as herbaceous sauces, seafood would also be an excellent partner like scallops, razor clams, mussels generally speaking. Moules Mariniere as an example with parsley cream, the moules as well as the chips would go hand in hand with Heks.
